Family Farm Mornings at 6 Acre Farm

Family Farm Mornings are designed primarily for homeschooling families with children ages 3–12 who enjoy learning outdoors, building friendships, and exploring God’s creation together. We welcome families looking for a peaceful, Christ-centered environment where children can grow through hands-on experiences and play.

Most activities are designed with children ages 3–12 in mind, but younger siblings are always welcome to come along with their families.

Yes! Family Farm Mornings are designed for families to experience together. While children participate in activities, parents have opportunities to encourage one another, build friendships, and enjoy being part of the morning.

We recommend:

• Comfortable play clothes
• Closed-toe shoes
• Rain boots for creek adventures (we also have extra boots families may borrow)

Expect a little dirt, a little mud, and a lot of fun.

We enjoy the outdoors in every season and meet rain or shine, as long as weather conditions are safe. If there is lightning or severe weather, we’ll communicate any schedule changes with families.

 Yes. Families have access to a bathroom with a sink for handwashing and other needs.

We recommend bringing:

• A water bottle
• A snack or lunch if your family would like one
• Layers for changing weather
• Anything your child may need to enjoy a morning outdoors

Absolutely! We know homeschooling is a family adventure, and younger siblings are welcome to join the fun.

Our first step is simple.

Complete the Family Farm Mornings Interest Form to let us know you’d like to join us.

As registration opens and space becomes available,  families will receive an invitation to complete registration.

Because friendships and community grow over time, we encourage families to attend consistently whenever possible. We understand that vacations, illnesses, and life happen, but regular attendance helps children build lasting relationships and get the most from the experience.

 We’re conveniently located in Summerville, South Carolina, just 2 minutes from the fire station on West Butternut Road.

Although we’re only minutes from town, once you arrive you’ll discover a peaceful farm setting where children can explore, families can connect, and the sounds of everyday life fade into birdsong and open spaces.

No experience is necessary! Family Farm Mornings are designed for curious children of all experience levels. Whether your child already loves the outdoors or is just beginning to explore God’s creation, every activity is designed to encourage learning, confidence, and discovery.
